US Smartphone User Penetration, by Age, 2018 (% of population in each group)

Description

95.7% of people ages 18-24 owned and used a smartphone in the United States during 2018. Smartphone penetration rate among consumers ages 12-17 reached 81.1% while ownership among senior citizens ages 65+ was 45.6%. US smartphone ownership rate in 2018 was at 69% according to eMarketer.
