Among those surveyed, 58% of Gen Z, 65% of millennial, 56% Gen X, and 35% of baby boomer respondents have been financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Methodology

Data is from a November 2020 TransUnion report titled "The COVID-19 Pandemic's Financial Impact on U.S. Consumer: Wave 14" conducted by Qualtrics. 3,100 US adults were surveyed on October 28, 2020. The sample was representative of the US population for age, gender, income, race/ethnicity, and region. TransUnion is an information and insights company providing credit security.
