Description

Media decision-makers were asked the types of media their organization is using SSPs for? Media include display, native, mobile and video. Companies named include Google Ad Manager, Amazon Publisher Services, AppNexus, OpenX, Rubicon, Oath Ad Platforms and Nativo.

Methodology

Data is from the July 2019 Advertiser Perceptions "SSP Report, Wave 3: 1H 2019." 155 US media decision-makers were surveyed during March 2019. Respondents were involved in display or video sales or operations/monetization, had 3+ million unique monthly visitors across all digital properties, sold inventory programmatically and used an SSP. Respondents were from these types of companies: digital audio/radio (3%), digital video content producer or distributor (15%), digital website/publisher (37%), mobile app developer/publisher (15%), print publisher (6%), retail company (16%) or TV network (8%) with a digital presence. Respondents identified their title as C-level (17%), director (36%), manager (13%) or VP (34%).
