Additional Note: A smart home smoke detector is an interactive device connected via internet and/or Bluetooth (or any other connectivity protocol) that can be controlled and automated by using apps, smart home hubs or voice assistants to interact with smart security systems. Smoke detectors sound an alarm when smoke and/or fire is detected, sending the home owner a notification when the alarm is triggered. Examples include Alexa Guard, Nest Protect, and OneLink Safe & Sound.
