The device enables users to open and close the garage door remotely, check the state of the garage door, receive alerts when its state changes, set schedules, and provide temporary or managed access. Traditional radiofrequency garage door remotes are excluded. Examples include Chamberlain/LiftMaster myQ, Genie Aladdin Connect, Meross, and Tailwind iQ3 smart home garage door openers.
