Methodology

Data is from the March 2020 Zipwhip report titled "2020 State of Texting." A US survey of 1,000 adults ages 18+ and 1,600 businesses was conducted online during January 2020. The panel sample was purchased through SurveyMonkey and followed a census breakdown for gender and age. No respondents were compensated for their participation. Zipwhip is a business-texting software and API provider.
