Monthly Subscriptions Purchased by US Internet Users, by Age, Aug 2017 (% of respondents in each group)
Description
This chart shows types of monthly subscription services bought by internet users in the US. Services included are paid music service, gym membership, magazines, newspapers and meal delivery kits.
Methodology
Data is from the February 2018 Brandtrust report titled "Evolutionary Psychology and Money-Saving Motives." 1,014 US internet users were surveyed online during August 16-17, 2017 via Amazon Mechanical Turk. Respondents were female (n=528) and male (n=486). Respondents identified their ages as 20-29 (n=360), 30-39 (n=383), 40-49 (n=144), 50-59 (n=78) and 60+ (n=49). Respondents identified their income as less than $20,000 (n=120), $20,000-$34,999 (n=202), $50,000-$74,999 (n=247), $75,000-$99,999 (n=152), $100,000-149,999 (n=88) and $150,000 or more (n=23).
