ChatGPT Dominates AI Chatbot Use Among US Teens, (% of US teens ages 13 to 17 who say they have used the following select AI chatbots, Oct 2025)
Methodology
Data is from the December 2025 Pew Research Center report titled "Teens, Social Media and AI Chatbots 2025." 1,458 US teens ages 13-17 were surveyed online during September 25-October 9, 2025. Respondents were recruited via their parents through Ipsos KnowledgePanel, a probability-based web panel recruited primarily by address-based sampling. The survey was weighted to be representative of US teens ages 13 to 17 who live with their parents by age, gender, race and ethnicity, household income, and other categories. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/-3.3 percentage points at the 95% confidence level. Oversamples were conducted for non-Hispanic Black and Hispanic respondents. The research was reviewed and approved by the Advarra IRB.Chart Title
