Methodology
Data is from the September 2025 Vividata report titled “Study of the Canadian Consumer - SCC/Sports 2025.” A custom survey on sports fandom was conducted among adults in Canada ages 18+ during June-July 2025. The data was then weighted and fused with the Spring 2025 wave of Vividata’s Study of the Canadian Consumer, yielding a total base of 55,400 adults ages 18+. Sports fans were defined as respondents who follow a sports league with any frequency, and self-identify as casual, avid, or super fans on a 5-point scale.
