Methodology

Data is from an October 2020 Facebook IQ report titled "The Future of Shopping Has Come Early: Perspectives From the Industry" conducted by Ipsos. 43,474 adults ages 18+ in 12 countries were surveyed online during July-August 2020. Respondents were from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, the UK, and the US. All respondents purchased food & beverage, beauty, personal care, furniture/appliance, electronics, apparel, and/or household supplies in the past 6 months at the time of the study. Data was averaged across all 12 markets.
