A global survey of mobile game developers asked what mix of in-app ad formats they deploy. Responses include rewarded video, banner ads, interstitials, and combinations thereof.
Data is from the May 2019 Walnut Unlimited report titled "Ads, IAP or Both? Game Developers Reveal Their Preferred Monetization Mix" commissioned by Facebook. 173 mobile game developers worldwide were surveyed online during October 2018-April 2019. Respondents were recruited at developer conferences in San Francisco, Berlin, Montreal and Kuala Lumpur, and were also recruited via LinkedIn and online panels.
