Description

This chart shows the YoY growth in Q1 2019 viewing hours for virtual MVPDs in the United States, such as DirecTV Now, Hulu with Live TV, PlayStation Vue and Sling TV compared to other services in the US.

Methodology

Data is from the April 2019 Conviva report titled "State of the Streaming TV Industry: Q1 2019." Conviva tracked 200 million digital video viewers worldwide on 3 billion apps for over 200 over-the-top (OTT) publisher brands worldwide during Q1 2019. Video content measured includes movies, episodic TV shows, live linear television and live sports.
