Methodology
Data is from the November 2018 Forter report titled "Shopping Cart Second Thoughts" conducted by OnePoll. 2,000 US internet users ages 18+ who shop digitally were surveyed online from November 2-5, 2018. Respondents were female (51.2%) and male (48.9%). Respondents identified their ages as 18-24 (11.1%), 25-34 (31.5%), 45-44 (20.9%), 45-54 (15%) and 55+ (21.7%). Respondents identified their income as less than $5,000 (11.6%), $5,001-$10,000 (8.6%), $10,001-$15,000 (7.6%), $15,001-$20,000 (7.1%), $20,001-$25,000 (6.3%), $25,001-$30,000 (7.1%), $30,001-$35,000 (6.4%), $35,001-$40,000 (5.8%), $40,001-$50,000 (9.2%), $50,001-$60,000 (8.5%), $60,001-$70,000 (5.3%) and $70,001+ (16.8%).
