US streaming service users were asked what percent of the TV shows/movies they watch on online video services were original content made by a streaming service vs. content made by other brands, but watched on a streaming service. Respondents were broken out by age, including 18-29, 30-39, 40-49 and ... 50-64.More

Note

Respondents were asked, "Of the content you watch on streaming services, both TV shows and movies, what percent would you say is A) original content made by a streaming service; B) content made by other brands that you watch on a streaming service?"

Methodology

Data is from the April 2019 PwC report titled "Streaming ahead: Making UX + content strategy work together." 1,000 US internet users ages 18-64 were surveyed online in March 2019.
