Methodology

Data is from the September 2018 Field Agent "An Old-Fashioned, Omnichannel Christmas: 2018 Holiday Insight Report." Five different mobile surveys of US holiday shoppers (n=3,507 and n=3,318), parents (n=2,206), married adults (n=1,619) and pet owners (n=2,237) were conducted during September 9-17, 2018. The data was weighted to the following demographic profile: 51% female and 49% male; ages 18-24 (16%), 25-44 (42%) and 45-64 (42%); income under $35K (54%), $35K-$49,999 (17%), $50K-$99,999 (20%) and $100K+ (9%); ethnicity white (63%), Latino or Hispanic (17%), African-American or black (14%), Asian-American (2%), Native American (1%) and other (4%). Field Agent is a mobile marketing research firm.
