Note

Retail AR enables a user to interact with virtual objects and other types of digital information overlaid over the real world while browsing, researching, or comparing products in-store or digitally. Examples of retail AR include in-store AR smart mirrors, virtual try-on (e.g., Nike Fit, Pinterest ... Try-on, Sephora Virtual Artist, and Snapchat Shopping Lenses), and product visualization (e.g., Amazon View, Ikea Place).

Methodology

Estimates are based on the analysis of survey and traffic data from research firms and regulatory agencies, historical trends, and demographic adoption trends.
