Data is from the TIAA Institute and Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center (GFLEC) report titled "The 2023 TIAA Institute-GFLEC Personal Finance Index." 3,503 US adults ages 18+ were surveyed online during January 2023. Asians, Blacks, and Hispanics were quota-sampled for at least 500 respondents each; Gen Z was also quota-sampled for at least 500 respondents. Survey data is weighted to be nationally representative.Chart Title
