Methodology

Data is from an August 2020 Catalyst and Kantar report titled "The State of Ecommerce 2021." 200 US senior-level industry professionals were surveyed online during April 2020. Respondents were leaders across brand, shopper marketing, ecommerce, and advertising specialties holding titles from manager through executive VP who work for, or with, companies that have annual sales ranging from $100 million to more than $10 billion, across more than 17 categories.
