Note

Respondents were asked, "Based on what you know about Robo-Advisors, how strongly do you agree or disagree with the following statement: A robo-advisor would be a safe way to invest?"

Methodology

Data is from the August 2020 Vanguard report titled “Generational views on financial advice, investing, and retirement.” 1,568 US adults were surveyed during May 12-21, 2020. This sample was designed to be a nationally representative sample of U.S. adults ages 18 to 64 with minimum household incomes of $50,000, including 885 millennials ages 24 to 39.
