Description
The most used source of information for the Coronavirus are TV and online news according to US internet users as of March 2020.
Note
Respondents selected from multiple options in response to the question, "From which of the following sources are you currently receiving information about the Coronavirus?"
Methodology
Data is from a March 2020 McKinsey & Company report titled "McKinsey Consumer Healthcare Insights" as cited in press release. 979 US internet users ages 18-84 were surveyed online during March 16-17, 2020. The sample frame was balanced to be nationally representative of sex, age, income, race/ethnicity, region and type of health insurance. This survey was not meant to be a comprehensive or detailed view of all US population segments or to predict their actions in the future, but to provide early insights into consumers' stated perspectives.
