Description

Consumers in Canada were asked where they are getting information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) from. Sources include broadcast media/TV/radio, Canadian based online news sources, international-based online news sources, social media, newspaper/print media, US-based online news sources and word ... of mouth/family and friends.

Methodology

Data is from the February 2020 Leger Marketing study. 2,364 adults ages 18+ in Canada (with an oversample in British Columbia) were surveyed via CAWI during February 7-10, 2020. Data was weighted according to age, gender and region in order to ensure a representative sample of the population. The margin of error is +/-2.0 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
