Description
US consumers were asked how likely they are to spend more than $50 during online and in-store shopping trips. The chart shows how likely millennials, Gen X and baby boomers are to spend over this threshold during their visits to physical stores vs. online stores.
Methodology
Data is from the March 2019 First Insight report titled "The State of Consumer Spending: In-Store Impulse Shopping Stands the Test of Time." 1,000 US internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online during February 2019.
