- Over three-quarters of small business leaders state that using social media has made a positive impact on their business—but 56% find it difficult to prioritize social media use, and 54% struggle to produce enough content to support multiple social media channels.
- Social media marketing tied with sales as the leading outreach tactic among small business decision-makers (52%). But while just over half are using social media marketing to increase customer engagement and online traffic, the remainder have not attempted this strategy.
- Many small businesses are ignoring the potential of major social media platforms to drive purchases. Twenty-five percent of respondents don’t use Instagram, while 28% aren’t using YouTube and 38% aren’t using TikTok.
