The news: Manifest Financial and Mastercard launched a debit card designed for creators and the creator economy, per a press release.

The Manifest Business Debit Mastercard integrates directly with Manifest’s embedded banking platform, which helps creators manage invoicing, expenses, and taxes; receive instant payouts; and accept payments. Cardholders will also gain access to Mastercard programs like Business Builder and Easy Savings.

Zooming out: US social media creator revenues will reach $24.09 billion in 2027, per our forecasts, growing 14.1% YoY. Yet nearly half (48%) of creators operate without a team, independently managing their content, communities, and monetization, per Circle. That creates demand for financial platforms that can simplify back-office tasks and help creators manage their cash flow.
