Fox restructures ad sales with focus on advanced measurement and audience targeting

The news: Fox is reorganizing its ad sales team and reducing its workforce by around 3% as part of an effort to boost ad revenues and streamline processes across its sports, news, and entertainment platforms.

The restructuring, led by ad sales head Jeff Collins, comes with several high-level hires from Warner Bros. Discovery, DirecTV, and Motionworks, including new SVPs Ebony Moore (client services), Brian Schepis (yield management), Matthew Jamison (ad sales strategy), and Kym Frank (ad sales research).

To adapt to changing market conditions, Fox plans to accelerate its ad tech capabilities, focusing on audience targeting, addressable TV, and advanced currencies:
