Methodology

Data is from the September 2019 HERE Technologies report titled "The Privacy Paradox Reloaded: Changes in Consumer Behavior and Attitudes Since 2018." 10,176 internet users ages 16-65 from Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Netherlands, UK and US (over 1,000 respondents in each country) were surveyed online during July-August 2019. All respondents owned smartphones or tablets. Survey respondents are representative of individual markets in gender, geographic regions, and education levels.
