Where Do US Internet Users Get Most of Their News About Current Events/Politics? (% of respondents, Dec 2018)

Description

American adults still get most of their news about current events and politics from TV, followed by online/internet and social media.

Methodology

Data is from the February 2019 Thomson Reuters "Media Poll" conducted by Ipsos. 4,214 US internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online during December 7-20, 2018. Data was weighted according to the US Census by gender, age, region, race/ethnicity and income. The margin of error is +/- 1.7 percentage points.
