Methodology

Data is from the November 2018 InfluencerDB report titled "State of the Industry - Influencer Marketing in 2019." For the analysis Instagram posts worldwide with 68 paid partnership hashtags in 15 different languages, such as #ad, #commerical, #spon, were examined for the period of January 2013-July 2018. To project influencer marketing spending worldwide, InfluencerDB looked at total post price of all sponsored posts and calculated standard earned media value using a value of $5 CPM. An industry range of $3-$10 CPM was also projected into the analysis.
