Methodology
Data is from the October 2018 Adobe Advertising Cloud and Telaria report titled "Inside the Minds of Cord-Cutters & Cable-Keepers" conducted by Lieberman Research Worldwide. 750 US connected TV viewers ages 21-54 were surveyed online during April 26-May 9, 2018. Respondents were split into three separate segments (n=250 each), including cable TV viewers (i.e., those who watch linear TV via cable or satellite service), linear over-the-top (OTT) viewers (i.e., those who watch linear TV via nonlinear platforms, e.g., virtual multichannel video programming distributors (vMVPDs)) and app/on-demand-only viewers (i.e., those without home cable or satellite connection who view content via streaming apps only). Telaria is a video monetization software company.
