Roughly One-Fifth of US Adults Regularly Get News From Social Media News Influencers (% of US adults who get news from news influencers* on social media, by demographic, Aug 2024)

Methodology

Data is from the November 2024 Pew Research Center report titled "America's News Influencers." 10,658 US adults ages 18+ were surveyed during July 15-August 4, 2024. Respondents were members of Pew's American Trends Panel (ATP), a group of people recruited through national, random sampling of residential addresses who have agreed to take surveys regularly. It also includes analysis of 500 news influencers on five social media sites.
