Description

Internet users in the US and UK were asked how they tend to share information/content with their friends and family. Potential responses were "via private messaging apps," "by posting on social media accounts," "word-of-mouth offline/in-person," "SMS (mobile phone)" and "via email."

Methodology

Data is from the July 2019 GlobalWebIndex report titled "Social Flagship Report 2019." 278,359 internet users worldwide ages 16-64 were surveyed during Q4 2018 and Q1 2019. Each year, GlobalWebIndex interviews over 400,000 internet users ages 16-64.
