Extent to Which B2B Marketers in North America Understand the Differences Between Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling, Q1 2018 (% of respondents)

B2B marketers in North America were asked if they understand the difference between AI, machine learning and predictive modeling during Q1 2018. Responses included strong understanding, becoming more confident and not clear what the differences are.

Methodology

Data is from the June 2018 EverString and Heinz Marketing report titled "The State of Artificial Intelligence in B2B Marketing." Over 300 B2B marketers almost entirely from North America (95%) were surveyed during Q1 2018. Respondents identified their position level as coordinator/associate (10.2%), director (28.8%), manager (23.7%), VP or higher (20.3%) and other (16.9%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as fewer than 50 (44%), 51-200 (23.4%), 201-1,000 (11.5%), 1,001-10,000 (13.8%) and 10,001+ (7.3%).
