Methodology
Data is from the June 2018 Automat report titled "Virtual Beauty Advisors Reach Tipping Point: Decoding consumer needs and opportunities for beauty brands." 1,500 US female beauty buyers ages 18-65 were surveyed online by Wakefield Research during May 11-23, 2018. All respondents were mobile phone users with Facebook Messenger installed on their phone. Respondents also made beauty product purchases within the past three months. Automat is a conversational marketing cloud platform.
