Description

US internet users were asked whether they prefer to shop digitally or in-store on several product categories, including apparel and accessories, electronics, furniture and home goods.

Data was provided to eMarketer by Morning Consult.

Methodology

Data is from the April 2018 Morning Consult report titled "The State of Retail 2018." 4,402 US internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online during March 1-5, 2018. The data was weighted to approximate a target sample of adults based on age, race/ethnicity, gender, educational attainment, and region. Results from the full survey have a margin of error of plus or minus 1 percentage points.
