Top 100 brands lose $200 billion in brand value, says Interbrand

The news: Apple remains the most valuable brand globally, but its brand value has declined by 3% for the first time in over two decades, according to Interbrand's 2024 Best Global Brands ranking.

  • LG experienced a remarkable 38.7% increase in brand value year-over-year, doubling its brand value since 2022 and reaching $6.5 billion in 2024. This has been largely driven by its transformation into what it calls a Smart Life Solution Company, supported by global campaigns like “Optimism your feed.”
  • Microsoft and Amazon also saw significant brand value increases of 11% and 8%, respectively.
