New Merge: Grocery retailer Albertsons is acquiring the remainder of Rite Aid that hasn't been sold to Walgreens Boots Alliance, CNBC reports. The integrated company will operate roughly 4,900 locations, 4,350 pharmacy counters, as well as 320 clinics across 38 states and Washington, D.C. "Our combination with Rite Aid will enable us to even better serve the valuable pharmacy customer by providing a fully integrated, one-stop-shop for our customers' food, health, and wellness needs," said Bob Miller, chairman and CEO of Albertsons, in a statement

New Kicks on Snap: To drive hype for the new Air Jordan III Tinker shoes, Nike teamed up with Snapchat, Darkstore and Shopify to pre-release the sneakers on the social platform. According to TechCrunch, consumers who attended the Jumpman All-Star after-party in Los Angeles this past weekend were able to scan exclusive codes to buy the sneakers via Snapchat and receive them that very same night.

Strong Improvement: Home Depot reported sales of $23.9 billion for Q4 2017, a 7.5% growth compared to a year prior. Comparable sales for Q4 were also up 7.5%.  "Our ongoing commitment to enhance the interconnected retail experience for our customers, provide localized and innovative product, and deliver best in class productivity resulted in record sales and net earnings for 2017," said Craig Menear, chairman, CEO and president in a statement.
