Client pressure has made AI adoption nearly universal at agencies, but results remain underwhelming. With agencies prioritizing speed and cost savings over effectiveness, meaningful improvements in marketing outcomes remain out of reach.

Key Question: How widespread is AI usage within advertising agencies, and what impact has AI had?

Key Stat: While 99% of agency workers say they use AI in their work at least some of the time, no more than 42% say it’s part of their daily workflow for any given marketing function. This experimental usage means AI has delivered little impact for agency clients.
