Nearly half of marketers now rely on AI for images, videos

Key stat: Almost half (49%) of worldwide marketers use AI daily for image and video generation, according to January data from Canva and Morning Consult.

Beyond the chart:

  • 87.1% of worldwide marketers create blog posts with AI, according to February data from Ahrefs.
  • Some 34% of worldwide CMOs say that AI has already been deployed towards full image creation, per May data from Boston Consulting Group.

Methodology: Data is from the March 2025 Canva report "The State of Marketing and AI." 2,400 business leaders worldwide in marketing and creative roles were surveyed during December 2024–January 2025 by Morning Consult. Respondents were decision-makers for purchasing software in their department or company. The survey, commissioned by Canva and conducted by Morning Consult, included 500 respondents each from the US, Australia, and the UK, and 300 respondents each from France, Germany, and Spain.
