Consumer Distrust of Social Media Health Content Hits Survey High

Methodology

Data is from the October 2026 Axios/Ipsos "American Health Index: Wave 13". 1,122 US adults ages 18+ were surveyed using the KnowledgePanel during September 25-28, 2026. The margin of error for the total Wave 13 sample is +/-3.0 percentage points at the 95% confidence level. Previous survey waves included: 1,189 US adults during June 12-15, 2026; 1,225 US adults during March 6-9, 2026; 1,125 US adults during October 10-13, 2025; 1,104 US adults during June 13-16, 2025; and 1,066 US adults during February 28-March 3, 2025.
