Methodology
Data is from the March 2026 EMARKETER AI Visibility Index. In Q1 2026, EMARKETER analyzed 5,600 ChatGPT responses across nine financial services categories: credit cards; banking accounts; buy now, pay later (BNPL); payment processing; digital wallets; peer-to-peer (P2P) payments; cryptocurrency and stablecoins; insurance; and loans. Each query asked ChatGPT for product or service recommendations using standardized prompts (e.g., "best travel credit card," "auto insurance provider for families"). Queries varied by product/service type, product/service attribute, consumer need, target audience, and price tier to capture a representative range of consumer questions for each category.Sources
