Methodology

Data is from a February 2022 Virtue Worldwide and The Dematerialised report titled "The Screenwear Paper." 3,000 respondents ages 18-50 were surveyed worldwide during December 4-30, 2021. The survey was conducted in Egypt, Germany, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, the UK, and the US. Respondents identified as being open to new trends and having an interest in new technology, internet culture and new media, fashion, gaming, and/or art and culture. In addition, interviews were conducted with specialists in fashion design, retail, technology, blockchain, fashion investment, fashion education, and virtual fashion. Virtue Worldwide is the agency division of VICE Media Group. The Dematerialised is an experiential market space for digital fashion.
