Methodology

Data is from an Edison Research report titled "Share of Ear Q4 2021" as cited by a March 2022 Westwood One report. 1,000 US teens/adults ages 13+ were surveyed on a quarterly basis during Q1-Q4 2021, with this study reflecting 4,000 respondents that represent a one-year rolling average. Respondents kept a 24-hour diary to record audio usage.
