Methodology

Data is from the January 2022 Deloitte "2022 CXO Sustainability Report." 2,083 C-level executives in 21 countries were surveyed during September-October 2021. The respondents were from: Asia Pacific (24%), the Americas (31%), and Europe/South Africa (44%). The annual revenues of the respondents' companies were $500 million-$1.9 billion (49%), $2 billion-$4.99 billion (23%), $5 billion-$9.99 billion (17%), and $10+billion (10%). The industry sectors reprsented by the sample were consumer (21%), energy, resources and industrials (20%), financial services (19%), life sciences and health care (10%), professional services (10%), and technology, media, and telecom (19%).
