Methodology

Data is from the June 2021 BDO USA "2021 Healthcare Digital Transformation Survey" conducted by Rabin Research Company. 100 US C-level executives at healthcare organizations were surveyed during January 2021. C-level executives are from hospitals, academic medical centers, post-acute care facilities, home health and hospice providers, ambulatory service providers, behavioral health facilities, and physician/provider groups with annual revenues of $100 million-$3 billion. Respondents' titles include CEO (7%), CFO (19%), COO (17%), chief marketing officer (15%), chief medical officer (12%), line of business executive (6%), chief information officer or chief information security officer (14%), and chief technology officer or chief innovation officer (10%).
