Have VR Users in China Used VR More Frequently During the Coronavirus Pandemic? (% of respondents, March 2021)

Methodology

Data is from the April 2021 HTC "H1 2021 China VR Market Survey Report." 2,907 internet users in China were surveyed online during March 2021. Respondents identified themselves as male (90%) and female (10%) who ages below 20 (4%), 21-25 (19%), 26-30 (25%), 31-35 (23%), 36-40 (15%), 41-45 (9%) and over 45 (6%). In addition, 32% were VR device owners and 68% were non-owners. In terms of their VR experience, 2% said they don't know; 24% just heard of, 27% have tried, 27% know well, and 19% are experts. Samples were drawn from Guangdong (15%), Beijing (7%), Jiangsu (7%), Shanghai (6%), Shandong (6%), Zhejiang (5%), Henan (4%), Hebei (4%), Sichuan (3%), Fujian (3%), and others (38%).
