Methodology
Data is from an August 2020 BVA BDRC report titled "Business Banking Service Quality - Great Britain." 16,800 UK SME customers with business current accounts were surveyed by computer assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) during July 2019-June 2020. The independent survey is part of a regulatory requirement and the results in this survey have been published at the request of the providers and the Competition and Markets Authority. Approximately 1,200 customers a year are surveyed across Great Britain for each provider. Results are only published where at least 100 customers have provided an eligible score for that service in the survey period. SMEs include businesses, clubs, charities, and societies with annual turnover/income of up to 25 million pounds. BVA BDRC, part of the Paris-based BVA Group, is an international consumer insight consultancy.
