Comparative Estimates: Amazon Sponsored Products Ad Benchmarks in North America, Q4 2019 (% change vs. same period of prior year)

Description

This chart compares the estimates of Amazon sponsored products ads in North America. Data includes ad spending, clicks, and CPC.

Methodology

Merkle data is from the January 2020 "Digital Marketing Report Q4 2019." Data is based on activity among Merkle clients in North America during each quarter. Clients included have maintained active campaigns over at least 19 months, not changed campaign objectives or product offerings and meet minimum ad spend requirements. Merkle is a performance marketing solutions agency. Pacvue data is from the January 2020 "Advertising on Amazon 2019 Q4 CPC Report." Data is based on anonymized performance data from Amazon ad buyers for the US market using Pacvue's technology platform. Samples are restricted to those programs that have remained active and maintained a consistent strategy over the time periods studied. Pacvue is an Amazon ad automation service. Tinuiti data is from the January 2020 "Amazon Ads Benchmark Report Q4 2019." Data is based on anonymized performance data from Amazon programs under Tinuiti management, with annual Amazon ad spend under management totaling over $400 million. Samples are restricted to those programs that have remained active and maintained a consistent strategy over the time periods studied. Unless otherwise noted, all figures are based on same-client growth. The trends and figures included are not meant to represent the official performance of Amazon advertising or the experiences of every Amazon advertiser. Tinuiti is a digital marketing agency.
