Description

This chart show US Gen Z social media users and the reasons they have considered quitting social media. The survey was conducted in August 2019 but also includes responses from a December 2017 survey.

Methodology

Data is from the October 2019 Hill Holliday report titled "Meet gen z: the social generation.: Part 2" conducted by Origin. 998 US adults 18-25 were surveyed online in August 2019. 94% of respondents were social media users. This is part two of a similar survey that was conducted in December 2017. Origin is the research arm of Hill Holiday, a marketing agency.
