Description

Hotel marketers were asked how they used social ads in 2018 and how they expect to use social ads in 2019. Use and anticipated includes ads on Facebook (ads and stories), Instagram (ads and stories), Twitter, Pinterest and Snapchat.

Methodology

Data is from the June 2019 Sojern "2019 Report on Travel Advertising for Hotel Marketers." 327 hotel marketers worldwide were surveyed online during November 2018. Respondents were sourced from Sojern’s database of travel marketers and agencies as well as a third-party sample and were a mix of 88 small (<$50K budget), 182 medium-sized ($50K-$1M budget) and 57 large (>$1M budget) advertisers. Respondents represented a range of hotel segments and geographic regions.
