Methodology

Data is from the December 2018 Total Retail, Radial and NAPCO Media "The 2018-2019 Retail Technology Report." 235 US retail industry professionals were surveyed online during September-October 2018. Over 80% of respondents were retailers while the remaining included customer service professionals and manufacturers. The revenues of the organizations represented in the survey varied across the spectrum from less than $1 million to greater than $1 billion.
